Ever since I’ve become interested in live music photography, it’s been a dream of mine to shoot Snoop Dogg. My dream finally came true at the 2012 RBC Bluesfest in Ottawa. Thanks to a few amazing photographers in the pit, they helped me onto one of the (almost) 6ft tall stage amps which brought me literally 2 feet away from Snoop. I was in awe so much that I forgot to photograph the first 30 seconds of the show; My nerves got the best of me at first. The experience of shooting one of the most iconic names in hip hop is something I’ll hold dear forever.
